Got this book a couple of days ago but it's to offer to a friend next month on his birthday, maybe I'll get one for myself.
I also have Lords Of Chaos, The Slayer Mag Diaries and Only Death Is Real, on Hellhammer/Celtic Frost.

I think you posted this a year of two back! I always meant to give the whole album a listen. I'd forgotten a about it until now!

It's all relative

Back in the day, we didn't bother with 'labels'. This kind of music was just 'thrash metal'. It was only later, when things became elitist (no offense meant to anyone) when things started to be described as being 'black metal', 'thrash metal', 'speed metal', 'death metal' etc

When I was a teenager, bands like Metallica, Venom, Motorhead, Bathory, Slayer and Possessed were all lumped together

At the end of the day, it's just basic rock and roll, with the amps turned up to 12 (again, no offense meant to anyone)

Yes, I think I have mentioned this story elsewhere on the forum!
