I like that! I've never really investigated Christian Death before, although I've been aware of them, I'll go ahead and listen to that album in full now.

I meant to point out as well, the artwork looks like it was made by the same person who did the early My Dying Bride album and EP covers. I'll see if I can find out if it is the same person.

Those are literally the only Darkthrone concerts aren't they, I had one on a bootleg VHS years ago that looked like it was in a school hall or a sports centre, played a mixture of Soulside and proto versions of Blaze and Funeral tracks Would be nice to own, but it would end up gathering dust on a shelf!

A new discovery and I'm excited to delve into their catalogue. Not exactly 'extreme metal' but I feel it's appropriate as it'll will be most interesting for fans of the style. Leprous is a Norwegian band that plays progressive and/or avant garde metal and features the beastly drummer of Borknagar and the singer is the brother of Ihsahn's wife.
