It's funny on the demo disc in this set some small parts remind me of the punk band I hated in Driller Killer had me laughing on the drive home

Brutal Truth and Morbid Angel.

I have always loved Steve Tuckers albums with Morbid Angel.

First EP from Mürrmürr from France 2023. This actually blew me away haunting meloncolic beautiful and brutal. I love religious art so this cover had be intrigued straight away. I know nothing about this band just that I'll be grabbing a physical copy of this and I can't wait for their debut record.

Default A Gothic Summer

The sun is out which means a gloomy bugger like me is going to listen to Cradle of Filth's opus Dusk and Her Embrace while having my morning walk

Hard to pick a favourite from this outstanding album, but here is one of the best, A Gothic Romance.

This seems very interesting, I will have a listen later today.

Incineration fest this Saturday, highlights:

Lamp of Murmuur & Rotting Christ, what a show of both bands.

Marduk never disappoints but from Mortuus I only want to listen Funeral Mist (maybe one day he will put a live band)

Vomitory - Raped, Strangled, Sodomized, Dead

All Heads Are Gonna Roll, (summer, 2023)

I had no idea these guys were back. Very catchy although i doubt you'd want to be caught singing the chorus to yourself out in public.

I have been watching a lot of 80s live metal gigs recently. The other night I watched Exodus Slayer and Venom Combat tour holy s**t Slayer were on fire in those early gigs so evil sounding and Tom Vocals filled with anger and rage amazing.

The Venom interview was funny I can't play drums and he can't sing but together we are great

We went to see Nuclear Assault at Bradford touring Survive. My mate who was a year older than me managed to break a rib in the pit.

I didn't go in the pit, just stood at the back, it was too crazy at that time.

All those gigs look like insanity I never go into a pit myself but the energy is amazing when people are going crazy that's what I want at a gig everyone watches through a phone now. Those gigs were full of danger not just physical danger but just that atmosphere you just don't get it anymore sadly I was too young to go to gigs in the 80s but there are many tales about them people just went wild here because it was so hard and rare to get these bands over to play. Alan from Primordial has a great YouTube channel and podcast were he tells some great stories about crazy gigs here and abroad you should give it a look. Alan Averil is the name of the channel I love the guy he is just a metal fan who happens to be in an amazing band if you get what I mean. Plus he is a little pig headed when it comes to metal like me so thats even better for me
