Buying in general has taken a back seat with me the past few months. The horse is constantly begging me to get back on.

I was going through the cupboard of death yesterday seeing if i had the novel of Salem's Lot. I don't. Anyway searches like this take ages as i'm always getting sidetracked by things i haven't seen in years such as a load of early Kerrang! mags, including these three interesting covers.

Gotta' love the infamous Prince cover. Still at least the rest of the mag was full of real metal such as U2, The Alarm and The Moody Blues.

I wish I still had the black metal issue. I have the article reproduced in the Peter Beste ‘True Norwegian Black Metal’ art book at least.

That Kerrang Black Metal issue is definitely such an iconic historical issue really changed everything. Not all for good.
