Been listening to this in the car from a Metal Hammer promo cd. Incredible track. Added to the endless 'wants' list.
I've heard of this band over the years but never listened to them. I didn't expect them to sound like this

How come? It sounds like a progression from the last Celtic Frost album Monotheist.

Not really no, only really through the riffs that Darkthrone ripped off

To Mega Therion and Into the Pandemonium are genre classics. They should be in every extreme music fan's collection.

I will listen to them! I've only heard Morbid Tales and I liked it.

Their Monotheist album together with Mayhem's Order and Chaos redefined the boundaries of where Black Metal could go for me.

Those two along with Cannibal Corpse's Kill and Deicide's The Stench of Redemption which all came out in the same twelve month period got me back into extreme music after several years away listening to symphonic metal like Nightwish and Rhapsody.
