How did that go down with the audience. I've not seen Paradise Lost either

I was at the exact same gig. I don't think the majority of the crowd was interested, but I was right at the front so it was hard to tell

Saw Paradise Lost multiple times as well one time opening up for Sepultura on the Refuse/Resist Tour in '93 crazy.

I remember German industrial band Die Krupps opening for Paradise Lost at a gig in Preston in 94. They were excellent.

I went to that as well in Liverpool, fantastic, it was a better fit for PL than Sepultura was!

We all loved them. A Maiden audience is pretty much there for Maiden and not the support band but generally they went down okay.

Better than Killer Dwarves did when i saw them on the Seventh Son tour.

Sort of like Metallica and Slayer gigs then. I have never heard of Killer Dwarves before. I've still not seen Maiden either you and Justin can just stop name dropping now it's getting embarrassing now for me

Liverpool used to be a destination on the tour schedule of loads of bands, then all of a sudden it wasn't. So only up until a certain point in time, after that I would be going to Manchester occasionally.

You still get Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash. What more do you want?

Well as appealing as that is, I don?t even live there now, and Edinburgh is even worse for gigs than Liverpool haha.

You have seen dozens of exciting bands i've never even heard of whilst i'm more mainstream with the likes of Satyricon, Slayer, Metallica, Rammstein, Type O Negative, Motorhead, Guns N' Roses, Marilyn Manson etc, etc.
