Surely not about the Bill Shatner album. His version of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" is a classic.

Leonard Nimoy's Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins is mesmerizing in its awfulness though admittedly some of his covers of 60's pop aren't too bad. Telly Savalas's 1972 DJM album (This Is Telly Savalas) is easily the best but the MCA follow-ups are terrible.

Check out Nichelle Nichols (Uhura's) Down To Earth album. Excellent stuff.

Finally got to see them at the Roundhouse last year, they were giving out earplugs at the door! Was a brilliant performance which ended with an epic 10 minute wall of noise.
