Riders On The Storm is their best track IMO....

Presently playing The No Talents, who pretty much live up to their name. Excellent stuff. I saw PWEI about 100 years ago, or so it feels, as one of the many support acts to Hawkwind at an all day thing in Finsbury Park. Can't really remember much as I got completely cained with an off duty police officer who must have raided the evidence locker! |

That's a great track for sure but I prefer the End. It's such an epic song. That said there is an abundance of great songs among the band's body of work: Touch Me, Indian Summer, Hello I Love You, Break on Through, I could go on and on. I revisited Oliver Stone's film on Blu-ray last year, hadn't seen it in at least 10 years, and thought it stood up incredibly well. Looks great in HD too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Smiths - The Queen is Dead. Not my favourite Smiths lp, Hatful of Hollow is the one for me (fatty)... Love it all the same, classic stuff.

Funny how you can stop listening to stuff from the past but there'll be a time when you're overcome by the urge to listen to it again. I was never massively into the Smiths but I do like them and some of Morrissey's solo stuff too. |

I remember going to see them in the early '90s and being really surprised at their live power (if that makes any sense!). Shame that they are not still on the go.
