Been listening to the latest album from Ice-T's Body Count (Bloodlust). Pretty decent effort, some great metal guitar riffs, but the lyrics can be laughable at times "racism is here as ****" ![]() It features guest appearances by Dave Mustaine, Max Cavalera and Randy Blythe, plus a cover of Slayer's Raining Blood, with the ending to Post Mortem tagged on at the end (sang by bassist Vincent Price). I like Body Count, the first CD I ever bought was their Necessary Evil single from second album Born Dead, but at the age of 59 I think it's pretty funny to hear Ice-T sing about life in "da hood", which I'm fairly certain the millionaire hasn't lived in since the early 90's, shooting cops, ironic considering he's made an acting career out of playing one in Law & Order and the general struggles of being a black man in LA! But, at only 41 minutes long, it doesn't take up much of your time and warrants repeated listens (I've listened to it 3 times already this week) Here is the above mentioned cover: https://youtu.be/LPHJLB1ZeAc
