Machine Head - Locust

Unto the Locust (2011)

Listened to this cd for the first time over the weekend. Pretty disappointing in my opinion. This song is the only stand out following two run thru's.

Two fine ditties. It's a very strong album all round.

I forgot about Night of the Seagulls as well, it is a fine album and one drenched in nostalgia for me as it was the soundtrack to me and my friend getting drunk and stoned in the mid 90s

Jim Steinman died. When I got home from work, I listened to Bat Out of Hell. I also very much like the two follow ups: Meatloaf's Dead Ringer and Jim Steinman's Bad For Good (excellent record). btw Oddly enough, last week my wife and I watched Streets of Fire via a German blu-ray (last time I saw that was 30 years ago).

"All I wanted was a Pepsi. Just one Pepsi!"

When a guitar riff can give you instant nostalgia... this was always on Headbangers Ball in the early 90s
