I Don't Believe in Love and Jet City Woman are two of my faves.

Seems like it.

I remember seeing them at Manchester Academy and they played Mindcrime in full which i was not expecting plus a few others as a lengthy encore. Absolutely fantastic night.

I gave up reading Terrorizer following a guy called Paul Stenning's review of the show from the night i was there.

He said they played mostly new songs and the crowd were bored. The twat clearly didn't bother attending and just made it up.

Couldn't trust their reviews so that was it for that magazine.

I saw Queensryche on their first UK tour, in 1984, when they were support to Dio

They were promoting 'The Warning' LP

I remember walking away from the concert being decidedly unimpressed with them !!

No, but as I have mentioned elsewhere ... the 'entertainment writers' on the Portsmouth Evening News were not rock fans

For me - I thought they were a great live act who put on a wonderfully over the top show. I think this was my first concert with a laser show. [Well, it was either this one or a Hawkwind one from the same era]

I'm not as familiar with their output as others here, certainly never seen them. Think I became aware of them early nineties when a few singles from their album Promised Land were getting airtime on the Rock Show(?) I think it was called. Was in many ways my introduction to a lot of great music. I found Operation Mindcrime in an awesome old shop we used to have here in town. Sadly long gone, little independent second hand place full of CDs and vhs tapes. Well before dvd appeared. They even sold cassette tapes.
