I'd thought they'd never get back together seeing as the rest of the band disliked Mike Patton.

HOLY SHIT! 2009 is well on course to be the all time best. I can't believe that, and they even have Mike Patton back. You know, with Patton I always got the feeling he 'outgrew' FNM (hence all of his side-projects) so I wasn't expecting this news at all.

I just hope that if they do record a new album then it's not as bad as KING FOR A DAY, FOOL FOR A LIFETIME and especially the woeful ALBUM OF THE YEAR. OK, I don't expect them to ever repeat the sound of THE REAL THING and ANGEL DUST because those days are long gone, but I'd like something better than their previous two.

I've been listening to Canned Heat, Sonny Boy Williamson and John Lee Hooker. Awesome stuff.
BTW, Nine Below Zero are out of Glen Tillbrooke's Charlton studio and are just adding the final touches to their new album , due March/April.

What music you into Noss. ?

Been listening to a lot of Eels stuff again, mainly because I've been reading Mark Oliver Everett's book "Things The Grandchildren Should Know". To mix it up I've been playing some classic Van Der Graaf Generator and Terrorvision too.

Nine Below Zero rule! Yo Vips, as you know the band members, could me get me the autograph of their singer please? You know how George Romero always puts "STAY SCARED!" they should put "STAY SLAPPING!".

I love Blues and R'n'B. Not that R'n'B from Akon etc but Nine Below Zero, Dr Feelgood , The Who etc.
I loved all the Mod Revival bands like The Chords, Lambrettas, etc and Northern Soul, STAX etc.

Blues ways its John Lee Hooker, Sonny Boy and Muddy Waters . Seriously cool dudes.

Me and Tall Dude were shooting the shit over The Devil's Rejects the other day and its brilliant soundtrack. So I'm currently listening to a few songs from there. The highlights are two from Terry Reid: . Great film an all, one zillion times better than the misfiring House Of 1000 Corpses, Rob Zombie is marvellous , he comes across as a great guy too.

Holy crap! Great news about FNM. I can't believe I've only just found out. I consider myself to be a huge fan of Patton's work.

Currently listening to Lamb of God's new album - Wrath.

I recommend it to fans of metal.
