Good call, Wes. I always loved Rozz William's cover:

Images and Words is one of DT best albums. I love Virtual XI also. Very, very under-rated album! One problem with it. The Angel and the Gambler, although it is a great song, is very repetitive. Apart from that its incredible. Don't let anyone put you off it!

In my opinion Virtual XI was Maiden's best album since Seventh Son, until Brave New World and the return of Bruce.

Whilst No Prayer, Fear and X Factor had some strong songs, they also had a fair few throwaways.I felt XI held together more cohesively as an entire album.

Unfortunately it ties with Dance of Death as the worst artwork.

The drumming sucks on Virtual XI, so much so that there's rumours it wasn't Nicko (utter bollocks obviously). It's certainly a better album than it's predecessor, which I rarely listen to other than Sign of the Cross.

The main reason people hate Virtual XI is because of Blaze Bayley. I think he's an amazing vocalist. I can talk about Maiden for ages!

Dace of Death was a rush job. That's why it sucks. Amazing album though!!!
