Have Maiden ever done a truly brilliant album?. Seventh Son is easily my favourite and is as near to perfect as they come. All the classic albums have at least one awful track on them.

Maiden are probably my favourite band of all time, so i'm not just being a knob with the question.
Seventh Son is my favourite album for 2 reasons, 1) It was the first album by them I ever heard, given to me by my cousin back in '89 along with a Donington '88 programme and 2) It's ****ing awesome!

There's definitely a crap song on each album, except 7th Son which I think has 8 great songs, yes that includes Can I Play With Madness and The Prophecy haha

That was my first ever gig. It was absolutely awesome. The whole day. Kiss, Gn'R, Roth, Helloween - Just fantastic, but Maiden easily destroyed them all.

I was so thrilled when they announced the arena tour during the set.

Not a duff track on Seventh Son as you say.

I'm ashamed to say that I only saw them for the first time last year, it's not like I've been a fan for 23 years or owt

I am, believe me I've wanted to see them live ever since I got the VHS of Maiden England(which is due out on DVD/BD next year ) when it came out in 1989, but since nobody else I knew liked them, I never had anyone to go with That was until I joined my current band 3 years ago and found out that our singer/rhythm guitarist is a fan, and was actually at that Maiden England show, plus Donington '88 the bastard. So I finally got to see them last year and was like a kid at Xmas
