Whilst i would love the deluxe expensive version as i think it's a genuine classic album and one of my favourites ever i'll settle for the 2 cd release. There's enough on it to warrant a purchase including the fact i only have Lies! on cassette. It's probably quite collectible.

I have 'Appetite For Destruction' and 'Lies' on vinyl and 'Greatest Hits' on CD

That's all I want really, but I agree that 'Appetite' is an out-and-out classic

CD4 is pretty much the track list of the bootleg I played until it chewed up!

More Rob and Kirk 'doodles'

Yes, I know that these things are being performed as fun 'local' songs, but I think they are awful. Kudos to the two for trying this, but it sounds more akin to Les Dawson at the piano than members of a top class rock band!

David Lynch's Son Is Making A Metal Movie Called Black Earth | Kerrang!

"David Lynch’s son Riley Sweeney Lynch is making a movie about a runaway metalhead who is in love with someone who might or might not be a ghost. Like father, like son.

The synopsis is as follows:

Jack is a lonely metal head who lives in a small town on the edge of a deep birch forest. The townspeople fear the forest, believing it to be full of spirits. Jack dreams of a world outside this town, full of music. Nobody in the town gives a hoot about him or his dreams. He works at a bar. He is stuck.

Then Mimi appears.

No one knows where Mimi came from, including Mimi. She’s searching for answers. She’s on the run. She thinks Jack may be someone who can help.

Superstition and ignorance are their enemies, represented by The Big One, the enormous mayor turned eccentric spiritual gang leader and her nefarious partner, The Sheriff.

Like many of us, Jack and Mimi both want to belong. Jack wants to leave his small town home and to join a metal band, but his lack of self-confidence has rendered him inert, while Mimi desperately searches for a home she’s long forgotten."

It would appear that it's just a kickstarter thing at the moment however

I notice that piece is from Kerrang!

I nearly bought a copy a couple of weeks ago. The magazine has changed considerably since i last looked at one, appears a lot better and a more adult magazine. It turned into a comic or so it seemed a few years back.

All that stopped me buying it was the fact i didn't have enough cash on me at the time and had left my wallet at home.

Am i right in thinking it appears a more adult mag nowadays?

I'm presuming you've at least thumbed the pages. Whose on the cover?
