Some photographers are coming out with emails from Angela from over the last 10 years where she has said the same thing to them

In Flames are probably progressing a bit too far for their audience, they used to be one of the leading names in melodic death metal and now they're more like alt. metal. While being well received by the press, I personally lost interest a while ago.
I loved the last In Flames album. It was quite catchy but bugger all like they used to be.

That being said, I enjoy their new single, I just listened to it on the way home from work! It has a bit of an At The Gates (circa Slaughter of the Soul) vibe to it.

I posted it a while back in the What are you listening to? thread. They certainly seem to have gone back to their roots (a bit) sound wise.

I really only got into ARCH ENEMY when Alissa White-Gluz took over and the times I have seen them live have been with her.
I see comments by fans about the change in the way the music is going.
Personally, I love both the albums with Alissa.
A cover album is not for me though.
Alissa being caught up in all the sh*t going on at the moment and the backlash toward her about it is not good. Posting a statement on Facebook was not the wisest move when things are still at boiling point.

All the social media ****wits are lucky it's not Nightwish.

Tuomas would have just fired them all and hired some Within Temptation fans as replacements.

I recently deleted all social media out of my life last just over a year on Facebook. It's just a breeding ground for ignorance and hatred. I blame social media for the state of society these day because people can say whatever they want and there is no repercussion for your actions and its starting to spill over into the real world.
