There have been numerous times when I have been to see a band, only to be told the show has been cancelled by a note that has been tacked to the front of the venue door

So now NIGHTWISH at Wembley Arena cancelled until November 2022.
Might have known. So, three gigs this years end, cancelled for me yet again.

This ain't going to stop. Every few months there will be some new variant discovered that will hinder gigs.

Yeah it's a shame but totally expected, I'm pretty sure the Within Temptation/Evanescence tour was pushed back again too??

Got Bruce Dickinson tomorrow night, it's a spoken word thing for his book, pretty sure it won't be cancelled at the last minute, unless he catches Covid in the time being...

I think any band from out of the country is a cancellation at this time?
I think my next cancellation will be Tarja again in February.
Saxon in January will be on a knife edge.
I was looking at Within Temptation again recently before all this new strain kicked off as some standing tickets were available again but not going to bother at the moment. Same with Thundermother.

He was on top form, a very charismatic speaker. He didn’t just rehash the stories in his book he talked about people he’s met, places he’s been, his questionable taste in trousers! Very funny.

He ended the night with a quick acapella of Deep Purple’s When A Blind Man Cries, bloody hell he has the voice still!!
