They said something along these lines,
Next year will be huge we're in talks with someone big for a reunion,
And Oasis have just reformed when it was strange that Noel said I'll only ever play with Liam again if offered half a billion,
So yes it's deffo all about the money, and let's see if I'm right or wrong if they perform at Glastonbury.

The thing is they might be back, BUT have they really made up and put past behind them?
If not then they can't go on tour with a atmosphere that will ruin the stage performance and atmosphere, then they aren't playing for the passion they're just going through the emotions and that not fair on the fans and ppl who played a fortune to see them.
Seeing that it would be a 30 year anniversary, I can see them doing Knebworth.

Oasis were my band up to the singles from Be Here Now, other than Heathen Chemistry, their stuff since Be Here Now weren't really that great.

With no issues and being a Greatest Hits Set, it would be a good gig. However costs will be too much to justify

The cost is the main problem, so far rumours are ?100 and above, and from what I gather it is not even the original band it's Noel band from his flying birds,
They could charge 50 quid and that be more than ample, but like owt else it is just rubbish and feeble excuse why high cost, and ppl will moan and pay it, agree or disagree on the prices, like or dislike them either way it'll be a sell out tour, and classed as the hottest ticket in town as they say.

If you want to go, it's probably best to get tickets for the Cardiff performances because there's a fair chance they won't be together after that.

I would be surprised if they don't fall out by the August and have to cancel the Scottish and Irish concerts.

Me - I really have no time for them. Didn't like them back in the day and don't like them now

Pulp were the best of the 'BritPop' bands !
I doubt they would sell that many nights. Taylor Swift is a global phenomenon and she did eight at Wembley, the same as when Take That temporarily reunited.

As for Britpop generally, I liked all of the major bands: Oasis, Blur, Pulp, and Suede, but my preference now is for the bands that didn't generally get included in that group, particularly Radiohead, but I also like listening to The Verve, Stereophonics, and Feeder.

Stereophonics have that kinda timeless sound that would have sounded good in the early seventies as well as 2024.

I like Oasis but i'm not fussed about going to see them. Their debut album is a classic.

People are already posting on social media having their hotel room bookings cancelled due to a ?technical error? meaning we will just list them again at a greater price on Saturday and make more money.

Shouldn't be allowed it should always be the case of first come first served, but sadly its not, we live in a world where greed trumps most things and comes first.

And some ppl are already moaning certain dates have sold out due to presales, and then showing fake pics, Ppl need to do some research first.

I completely agree with you about Oasis. However, for me, the album I go back to more than others is, perhaps weirdly, The Masterplan. I love the title track and other songs like Half the World Away, Acquiesce, and Talk Tonight are brilliant.

Have tickets prices actually been confirmed? instead of speculation.
