Yeah - it's a fair cop guv !!
It'd be a good gig for sure but like you say without Lemmy's distinctive vocals it's simply a covers band playing Motorhead songs.

On the plus side at least Phil's guitar sound will be authentically Motorhead.

I'd love to see Skunk Anansie and I've just looked on the NX Newcastle website to find out more about the venue. It used to be a cinema, so is fully wheelchair accessible and tickets go on sale on Friday ? it's very tempting.

Amazing band live, I think a lot of Britpop acts will tour over the next few years to celebrate anniversaries of Albums. Next year I'm seeing Supergrass, Skunk Anansie and Ocean Colour Scene with Kula Shaker.

All probably cost less combined than an Oasis ticket

Most bands like these tend to be between ?30-?40, I was close to going to see Sleeper tonight at Blackburn for ?27. Bargain. But I've got a lot going on and a holiday to Florida to pay for early next yr, beside I've seen enough bands this yr, around 14 by time yr ends.
