Their last album - 'Citizens Of Boomtown' - was released in 2020

Now I think they just do festivals and '1980's revival' things

Still as good as you would of hoped ?

It just interests me to see bands release albums all these years later if they still go down well with fans.

Some of the metal bands - thinking Saxon, Priest, Kreator, Sodom, Accept, even Maiden's Senjutsu - release albums nowadays every bit as good as the 'classics' from the 80's.

They just aren't heralded as such yet because people haven't been listening to them for thirty years.

It might be different for more pop orientated acts who thrive on hit singles rather than albums.

"MANOWAR hail their loyal Army Of Immortals in England! The time has come to answer your call - MANOWAR will make their long-awaited return to England for an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime performance at the legendary O2 Academy Brixton in London on Saturday, July 19, 2025!

This historic night will mark the band's return to the birthplace of MANOWAR!

In honor of this monumental occasion, MANOWAR will perform the entire Hail To England album, a timeless tribute to the power and glory of true metal and the band's nod to where and how it all began. But that's not all! Fans will be treated to a set list packed with many other beloved hymns from MANOWAR's over four-decade long career, delivered with the earth-shattering, gut-punching power only MANOWAR can bring
."

Tickets from ticketmaster are available for the incredible price of UK$ 103.55 each (plus a handling fee of UK$ 3.25). That is quite sickening when you consider I only paid UK$ 3.50 to see them in Portsmouth in 1984 on the 'Sign Of The Hammer' tour

Sorry, no newspaper review of this concert. Manowar were just too 'ard and manly for the lily-livered journalists at the Portsmouth Evening News to handle

Absolutely

With a capacity of approx 2,300, the highest price should be no more than 50 notes
