I know it is not the answer but flights to Manchester will be dirt cheap. Also disappointed about the lack of a Scottish date. I would love to go to that show.

I'm going to give you the least metal response but I don't fancy travelling alone to somewhere I have no clue about

On the other side of the coin there's a dvd / Blu-ray of a far larger scale King Diamond show that was released a couple of years back taking place on a much larger stage than what is essentially a club stage at the Academy.

I might just get that instead seeing as it's been on my wishlist for ages. It'll be cheaper, there won't be fifty phones blocking my view and i won't have to park it either.

There is still a few phones in the cover art work though!

Also, Nordy, turning down a trip to Manchester is a wise move haha.

I know how you feel, I go gigging on my own and will go to London or Manchester on my own to see bands, usually with a hotel booked. But i've been meaning to do a city break in Europe on my own for the last 3 years and I just can't build up the nerve to do it. I'm sure the airport and everything will be fine, but it's just being somewhere that far away and no-one you know is anywhere near. I've wanted to go to Berlin for years!

My son 32 and things like that don't bother him, he a huge Eurovision fan and he sometimes books to go see someone say eg Germany on his own, guess we are all different. I could go to places and concerts on my own in own country but not abroad on my own, my friend once went abroad on his own and he got his days mixed up when he was due home, he was suppose to come home day before, so cost him a small fortune on taxi flight back, and had to get a friend to go down London and pick him up.

Under the Black Sun is hej festival is in Friesack I think it's an hour or less from Berlin I'm sure I'd miss the train or something and end up in BDSM club strapped to an inverted cross covered in custard with a leather pig mask and ball gags wait what are we talking about ........

As you and Gag have said I'll go to gigs on my own any day of the week but going to a different country not too sure.

Fair play to him maybe one day I'll get to a proper European festival.
