Rumour has it ... according to The Daily Mail (so take what you want from that), The Rolling Stones are "... lined up to play multiple dates at London Tottenham Hotspur stadium as part of a larger European tour" during the Summer, 2025

*If* dates *are* announced from a more reliable source, you'll hear it here first !!

Just remember, Blackie's not the Blackie i saw when touring The Headless Children...or even back in 2004 supporting The Neon God albums.

Too many medleys and not enough songs for me on that tour and it hasn't changed.

I Wanna Be Somebody
L.O.V.E. Machine
The Flame
B.A.D.
School Daze
Hellion
Sleeping (in the Fire)
On Your Knees
Tormentor
The Torture Never Stops

Encore:

The Big Welcome
Inside the Electric Circus / I Don't Need No Doctor / Scream Until You Like It
The Real Me
Forever Free / The Headless Children
Wild Child
Blind in Texas

They'll only be onstage an hour.

I see Animal has also been dropped again. I've seen them three times (Donington 92 was the other) and i've heard Animal once - in 1989.

I never got to see them so I thought I could be running out of time but from what you say I might let the ticket prices dictate and maybe the support.

But if they are doing the debut LP in it's entirety ... the song was originally included as the opening track but was removed due to pressure from the PMRC. It was then released as a single in the UK where it became very sought after in the USA as an import. However, it was reinstated on the 1998 reissue version so I suppose it depends what version of the LP they will be playing in the UK

It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but it was 1989 when I saw them in Portsmouth, on the 'Headless Children' tour. I loved them !

NOTE - A rare, positive review for a metal band from The Evening News !
