It is a good charitable cause though. One of the best ones in my opinion.

Id have no problem supporting that money wouldn't even cross my mind. My best mate died of cancer when we were only 20 so it's a one that's close to my heart.

Agreed. I have been supporting the trust since 2002

Unfortunately we are in a position where we have to consider the money aspect. There are lots of things we would love to do, but we just cannot afford it

You have to treat yourself every now and then though, not all the time if money is tight, but the occasional gig or day out etc.

Maybe not !

The Rolling Stones reportedly scrap plans for 2025 UK and European tour / NME

It would be nice, and we *do* get out to shows occasionally - last year we saw Alice and this year we are going to see the War Of The Worlds in April

We would have liked to get to see Lynyrd Skynyrd, but that was priced out of our range

War of the Worlds will be great and something to look forward to. Shows are so expensive these days, not just gigs and concerts, but at the theatre too. Even if you don't have to watch what you spend, better sense and judgement still comes into play when a tickets is 100 quid (Alice Cooper and Nine Inch Nails, both this week) when you remember being a teenager and going to shows for a couple of quid.

My Metallica ticket from 1992 (Manchester GMEX) has ?13.50 on it and that was a lot of money to me at 15, but I would jump at the chance to pay 13 to see any band these days haha.
