Moonbathers is great as are all Delain's albums.
Only a few weeks until I see them live again at KOKO London.
Don't like We Are the Others much. Human Contradiction is pretty good though. Moonbathers will have to wait till next month. I've nearly blown this month's budget in 5 days.

Trying to get a picture of a Darkthrone album is sometimes impossible.
This is the new CD release of the 1991 & 1992 rehearsal tapes which came out on vinyl only last year. It’s called The Wind of 666 Black Hearts.

I saw this on HMV's website. No info other than track titles though, so i thought it was a 'best of' from the early stuff.

If you like A Blaze In The Northern Sky it’s definitely worth picking up for the instrumental early versions on here. I really liked them! It also features the bass player from Soulside Journey who left before the album was recorded due to the ubiquitous ‘artistic differences’ haha.

Sorry ... but that's an awful title. And I know from Black Metal ... I have a Hate Forest demo cd with an equally dire moniker
Is it necro enough??

I also second MTDS' recommends ... along with Dark Magus ... In A Silent Way ... Get Up On It ... Birth Of The Cool ... Milestones ....

Does no one recommend the wonderful Sketches of Spain or his other Gil Evans collaborations Miles Ahead and Porgy and Bess?

Or for some other classic fusion Mahavishnu Orchestra's The Inner Mounting Flame.
