| Neil Young - On The Beach (Reprise, 1974) Of his maaany records, this is easily in my top 30  Joke. But along with Zuma, he travels an America unseen by contemporaries. Well, maybe Townes Van Sant. But still. It's not a conventionally pretty record. But who wants to listen to a rainbow? Er, I'm drifting ... More fun than chips. Hmm. Did I leave the pan on again?
