I mostly shop online because of the prices. I only go to the shops to see the dvd packaging and maybe get a bargin. Or to make sure I get a slipcase or exclusive item

We've seen 2 different photos of the case and packaging now - can no-one comment on the picture quality and the extras yet?

I'd love to, but I haven't yet had the chance to watch it! Hopefully, I'll watch it this week and put up a review at the weekend.

I'm going to have some comparison screens between this and SHAM001 up next week so you'll be able to see something then.

It's also rather funny to see Vamp and The Wizard Of Oz as neighbours.
Let alone 'Scott Pilgrim'?

I got to watch this in its entirety on BD last night (previously having only seen a DVD version). I'm not going to write a review (there is now a reviews thread for anyone who wishes to do so having seen the finished product) as I could be seen to be biased, but I will say that I thought it looked brilliant.

I'm not as tech-savvy as some of you on here and so no doubt didn't pick up on various bits that a lot of you will, but to me the PQ was crisp with lovely colours and a nice amount of grain. The HD makes the most of what is a vibrant colour scheme and of particular note is the scene in which the sex-performer is killed in her dressing room - the green and red lighting looked fab. The HD audio also sounded rather brilliant and I picked up on little bits that I've never noticed before.

So, there's my twopenneth worth. I'll look forward to seeing some reviews in the review section soon and, in the meantime, will endeavour to get some comparison shots (between this and SHAM001) to you next week.

I also watched it last night and my opinion is virtually the same as yours -- the HD picture and sound was excellent and I feel like watching it again with the Italian soundtrack and subtitles on in order to see what that is like. I'll hopefully get a review written and uploaded by Monday evening and will post the link in the reviews thread.

With this and Cannibal Holocaust, I'm seriously thinking of buying a BD player
