I thought i was time for Vera to go, and i think she had one of the best exits through the run of the show, compared to some of the other long timers like , Jim, Bea, Erica and Lizzie, at least she got a good strong exit.

I liked how Coleen became resident bitch once Vera left tho, but i think she chose the right time to leave too, both characters had been explored thoroughly i thought.

I'd have loved a reappearance from Vera tho, in any capacity, but especially when Bea was sent to Barnhurst

Yes, a long term break would have been good for her but a return during the barnhurst 5 era would have been fabulous. lol Her and Joanie would have got along wonderfully....erm, as in...they would hate each other, LOL.
