Well it looks like Amazon.com have honoured their mistake on The Lone Wolf and Cub set for $40.00 as I just got an email saying it has shipped!
Take that, falling UK £!!

Mine has also shipped, but I think they will charge my card with the current exchange rate, which means the price isn't as good as it was when I placed the order.

I cancelled my order, while I thought they'd honour the price I didn't think I'd have a region-free player - and I still don't. I've decided not to go multi-region and I'm buying a DSLR Camera instead and saving to go back to Japan next year!

Criterion Blu-ray 2 for £25 | HMV Store

A very good price for people who want the UK releases, £5.50 discount from the old price if you buy 2.

It's the Lone Wolf and Cub set and John Water's Multiple Maniacs for a March release - I'll be buying both!

Criterion's SHOGUN ASSASSIN looks very nice indeed.

It was good to see the trailer remastered as well as opposed to the old pan and scan Vipco Rice Crispies incarnation!

I'm really pleased that a UK boxset of Lone Wolf & Cub is coming out in March. Love those films.

Amazon are now listing the Lone Wolf and Cub boxset. 27th of March. It has a current price of 87.99 but presumably will drop to around 60-65 pounds before release date. I probably won't pick it up until it hits around 40-45 pounds. But I do have a birthday in March so could perhaps make this a birthday present. 87.99 seems very high considering that my understanding is that it's a three disc blu-ray set, I could understand it if each film was presented on an individual blu-ray.
