There's quite a few different versions of that one Steve!

I'd recommend staying away from the Retromedia version - if you actually want to watch it (the English audio track seems to be damn near impossible to access! ) - great artwork though.

Is it the Retromedia version you have? The one I saw is the same as the one in the pic of your collection.

Yep, afraid so. Although Retromedia have released another version (also advertising an English track... ) - not as great artwork, but it is a two-discer. Whether the English track actually exists, though is another thing. Anybody own it? Reaps?

I tell you what is a great release to get (not just for the hardbox, but also for the film) and that is Argento's Four Flies on Grey Velvet Retrofilm release. Groovy artwork, big box, and in a lot of ways it is superior to the MYA US release. It's still pretty inexpensive too. Definitely one of my recommended 'essential hardbox' purchases.

Anyone else have some recommendations for Steve (and the rest of us!) as to their opinions on essential hardbox purchases?

I'm thinking of picking up XT Island of Death release soon. Lovely artwork on that one.

It depends, Steve, do you want to collect a certain 'brand' of hardbox, eg. X-Rated Kult, XT Video etc. or are you just planning on buying anything and everything that you like the look of?

Be sure to get the big box, there's also a small one...
I got one recently and the image quality of the Mya is much better overall but I liked this better.
Call me nutty...
The box is beautiful btw and a must for Argento collectors in my opinion.

Hmmm D&T Mailorder shows The Burning with the nice artwork but says 2 discs? Very strange. Is yours also a two-discer?
