Y'know, I think I've done enough now to warrant the courtesy of a reply so we can establish whether they don't have my address.

Agreed

I have posted this clip before, but it is still the best part of the film

There is a brilliant one at the end of X-ray, where the character falls, but the dummy is clearly thrown a couple of metres away from the building!

Scroll through to 1:27:00 on this YouTube video of the film to see the clip.

Just watched ZH and it's companion doc Eaten Alive. first, the grain does look alarming at the start but my eyes soon got used to it and within minutes I no longer noticed it, one reason may be that the brightness seemed ramped up (first thing I noticed compared to the Stonevision dvd) bringing the grain with it, and much like Arrow's ZFE the Italian studio shot interiors don't look as good as the later natural light island scenes, but watching Ian and the cast getting menaced by cannibals first and then zombies just brings back such good memories it's a no brainer for £8.99 as the doc is great fun too, Lenzi seems to enjoy the attention and is in good humor throughout.

A Blu-ray like this is such good value you just have to get it....

(might be my fave purchase of 2015 so far)

Well it's a date, I wonder if they'll actually stick to it though? I still think Spasmo won't make it's release date, theres been no mention of it so far.

I received my BD of 88's Zombie Holocaust today. It's probably the quickest Amazon delivery I've ever had - I ordered it in the afternoon the day before yesterday and it arrived today. I think I can safely retire my Shriek Show and Stonevision DVDs now I've got this restored HD edition. I'm looking forward to giving it a watch tonight along with the 'Eaten Alive' doco. I've always had a soft spot for Zombie Holocaust ever since reading about it in Chas Balun's Deep Red Alert years ago. I tried importing the Paragon Video VHS edition (Doctor Butcher M.D.) from the States back then, but on opening my package UK Customs declared it obscene and seized and confiscated it.

I tried picking up a copy in HMV this afternoon. Alas they hadn't bothered stocking it. What a bloody surprise.

I thought about getting it from HMV but I figured for an extra £1.50 I may as well order it from Amazon.

They only had two copies out in the Bradford store (one of which I got), but they had loads of copies of some of the Slasher Nasties
