Anyway ahem,yes.

So you're all now in possession of the arthouse masterpiece SS EX CAMP?

That film is a vital piece of British censorship history.

(Plus the artwork is arguably the best of the DPP's 39)

lol, I watched some of it last night. The old UK vhs artwork is the best thing about the film.

I have never seen this movie, a lot of the forum like it and have been mentioning it for a few years but the title and the cover stop me wanting to bother looking into it.

If my gut instinct is anything to go by i will be in the 'banned' room with Hawks for a few weeks! Only i wouldn't buy for it, unless im seriously wrong about the film and it's a masterpiece in disguise?

Nazisploitation is certainly an acquired taste even amongst Exploitation fans, plus added to that you are also presented with the fact that SS Experiment Camp is far from the 'best' example within the particular sub-genre. Despite it not being great (even down right awful in places) it has a certain grubby charm to it that kind of appeals on a base level. The £8.99 price at Amazon also helped sway me into picking it up; if it had been much more than that I don't think I would have bothered.

It's great to see films like this get more of a premium release though.
