Even the extras seemed to be cut short on this one although the Q&A with Catriona Mccoll was alright if not a little out of place considering she has nothing to do with the film. Maybe its just me but with these more obsure titles it would be nice to have a retrospective making of featurette or something similar and its a shame that the US dvd commentary couldn't have been included.

Saying that I cant really complain as I paid £8.99 for this on amazon so for that price it's another one in the collection, however if I had paid the website price of £20 then it's fair to say I would have been more than a little pissed at myself as it's really not worth that kind of money in my opinion
Thats it I can't complain too much at all as we know what these Italian companies are like with their scanner noise filled masters and when some comes out at 8.99 it's priced as to say "yeah we know it isn't great". I'd be pretty pi$$ed had I paid anything over a tenner for it.

And I find it hard to believe anyone is praising Zombi 3 when Bloodstained Shadow wasn't given a great reception. All I can say is its a good thing blu-ray.com dont review the 88s stuff. Zombi 3 wouldn't be pretty.

If it's bad paying over a Tenner it's going to cost me €28 to get it over here with postage and all that carry on.

Makes me think twice if I want to pay that much if it's that bad.

It's better than the non anamorphic Vipco dvd I have but it's little praise saying its the best available blu when it's the only blu available And chances are best you will get until these italians upgrade their equipment (or someone demands access to the original negatives to do proper transfers like Arrow now try to do).

Just watched StageFright for the first time and thats how it's done, colours pop off the screen, crystal sharp. Great transfer from the negatives.

If you've got the Shriek Show dvd stick with that until you get a full opinion.

I don't currently have this on DVD so I might just pick up a DVD rather than pay way above the odds.

£8.99 for the Blu is a fair price - you'll probably be paying around the same for the SS DVD.

It probably more expensive hunting down the Shriek DVD than getting 88s blu. That kinda thing is why you can't complain much. Worth buying bog standard for 8 quid but don't expect any remaster. As there has been no work done to it (unless you count maybe increase in contrast, know a few of their Italian flicks have appeared to be boosted).

Have no idea why that Catriona interview was on there either, as mentioned above she wasnt it and the first thing said was dont ask about her experience with Fulci
