There's what appears to be a mock up of ABSURD as part of 88's Italian Collection on facebook ( I can't cut and paste the image ).

ABSURD was one of my early encounters with a 'video nasty' on VHS. It's certainly better than ANTHRO and I'm sure 88's bd will be a big improvement on MYA's 'horrible' dvd!

I've got the mya DVD of Absurd but have always preferred the more atmospheric (IMO) Anthropophagus. I'd buy Absurd again though, provided it looks better than the mya DVD.

Absurd would be a very welcome addition to 88's roster, it's much better than Anthropopogus in terms of plot and pacing.
