Just checked my order status for Creepshow 2, and it's changed to order "out for picking", so I'd expect it to ship sometime today. Hopefully have it tomorrow, but knowing how slow the post can be around these parts, more than likely it'll be monday.

One day postage. Aren't you being a tad optimistic? Or did you pay for first class? If you did then yes i agree with you.

Yeah, I always pay for 1st class postage, otherwise anything from any company can take a week to get to these parts.

Indeed it isn't. Around 30-40 minutes south of Glasgow by car. I did order something from Arrow and accidentally forgot the 1st class postage. I got it 5 days later. You can get things delivered from Amazon in Germany in less time. I honestly think our postal system is a joke.

Friday Announcement PART#1 If you ever wanted to feel the screen burning with heat you could do a lot worse than the rollicking Cannon Films romp SAHARA! Set in 1927 and starring the international sex symbol Brooke Shields (THE BLUE LAGOON), SAHARA was a notorious flop for Golan and Globus, the bombastic barons behind Cannon, but has since gained a cult audience who appreciate its jetsetting locale and bizarre story of a woman disguising herself as a man to compete in a hair raising car racing contest. With more peddle to the metal, edge of the seat madness than anyone could possibly ask for, SAHARA is finally back -in glorious HD- for a bran new audience to cheer to the finish line. Stay tuned... Postal systems and me - a never-ending story. Don’t get me started. As an aside: I'd compare an (Italian) cannibal film without scenes of animal cruelty to porn with pixelated genitals - it's still no children's film, and it just doesn’t feel right. Having said that, I generally don't like the genre. Most cannibal films are pretty repetitive. There are better exploitation films. |

Its not, Nos. Its a miss-mash of ideas that goes off like a damp sqiub. There's a fascinating section on it on the Cannon films documentary. I think they saw Blue Lagoon and thought that all they needed was Brooke Shields front and centre and they would have am immediate hit on their hands. Unfortunately things didn't turn out that way. A car crash of a film.
