Sounds interesting to me.
Thanks for the plug, nos.

I had never heard of Star Time either until i saw it had been released about a month or so back, then when i read your review it sounded like my kind of film so made a mental note of it B.E.

It's one of my favourite 'new to me' films this year, so far.

There is another Indiegogo campaign, this time to remaster 11 Days, 11 Nights and Beatrice Cenci.

Pity it's not Beatrice Cenci for the first goal.

But then again it's clever. I'm not sure 11 Days, 11 Nights has much of a market. I saw it and it's sequel on vhs and neither were remarkable in any way other than a pretty lead actress. It's not a film i would buy anymore.

Good luck to them though.

I was going to do it but £40 plus shipping! Criterion is cheaper than that! We got 5 Blu-ray a for less last time.

I’ll wait until Cenci is released to everyone.

Not much of an incentive to contribute

£40 = 1 copy of each film
£75 = 2 copies of each film

and that's it!

Where are the badges and posters and 'spend a day watching the remastering process' and meet & greet with our chums at the BBFC?

Remastering is expensive! It doesn't look like there's much money left over for t-shirts and other goodies.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

Assuming we can reach goal 2, this is where your money will be spent:

Money Raised, £25,000.

1. 20% VAT = £4166.67 (Boohoo!!!)

2. 5% Indiegogo Fee = £1250.00

3. 3% Payment Gateway Fee = 750

4. BBFC Fees Approx £750 each

That leaves approximately £8,500 each to Scan in 2K to DPX, grade and restore, frame correctly and process and synch audio which should be JUST enough to achieve the desired results which are to produce the highest quality HD masters that are as close as possible to what the directors intended.

While that all well and good, it’s still £40 to own Fulci’s little seen historical Beatrice Cenci because let’s face it, 11 Days is a crappy cash-in on a crap to begin with film and is not worth even restoring lol.
