I'd much rather talk about Full Moon movies.

Aww, I'm sorry. I'm not having a go really! Mr Waddell has done mountains more for extreme cinema in the UK than most likely all of us put together. He has my utmost respect.

Just trying to have a laugh, Dr Steven...

He seems to get a lot of stick on the 88 Films Facebook page, but what half of them don't realise is he's the one who acquired most of the films they don't want him to have owt to do with

I'm actually a Dr of liking crap films. I've studied for years, and still ongoing.

In response to the little discussion about the lack of extras on some of the upcoming releases by 88 Films:

It should also be considered that sometimes interviewpartners aren't available or reject offers.

Imagine for example an old lady in her 60s or 70s that absolutely hates horror movies:

"Oh, doing an interview about a movie that I have completely forgotten where I showed my p***y and got mutilated by a masked killer? Well, let me think about this a moment..."

I can live without the animal violence, especially if it is edited well (like the muskrat scene in the Shameless release of Cannibal Holocaust) as I need to mentally prepare myself for watching material like that. I'm not squeamish, but it makes me uncomfortable and, even though it won't be uncut, I'll buy it.

I'm looking forward to the possibility of a 88 Asia label with plenty of Shaw Brothers, Golden Harvest and other unreleased (or only on VHS) martial arts films films being put out on Blu-ray.

It's only my opinion of course but supporting cut releases like this will encourage other labels to release cut movies. Cut is cut no matter if it's animal violence or something else.

In a perfect world British labels should really stick to films that would get past the BBFC unscathed. After all there are plenty of them out there and many in desperate need of release. You only have to glance at threads on this forum for examples.
