Every collector has a line that cannot be crossed. The JCVD DTV line up is my line. What do you all consider your 88 line to be?

I am indeed. If they start putting out Steven Seagal's DTV movies as well, i'll get them too

You'd end up bankrupt with Seagal's output.

It's only a matter of time. The range is surely being negotiated at 88 Towers right now...

"Hello? Yes, its 88 films. Can we please have the rights to Under Siege"

"No"

"Ok, how about Under Siege 2, that's a good cult film."

"No"

"Executive Decis..."

"No"

"Well, what can we have?"

"The Glimmer Man and Exit Wounds"

"Nico?"

"No"

"You got a deal, Glimmer Man & Exit Wounds it is"

Seagal's DTV career is very funny. Although I'd definitely buy On Deadly Ground with him and Michael Caine. One of the best accidental comedies ever made.

Sign it up 88!

Only one of the finest films ever made.

The guy that played Kurt Sloane should have got an Oscar. "toothpicks man, toothpicks"

"I'm okay"

"I'm here for Mr Xian's grosheries"

"Can he move like me?"

Masterpiece.

On a side note, what's the issue CW has with 88? I always thought they seemed ok?
Kickboxer and Bloodsport are his best. Absolute classics.

Hard Target, Universal Soldier, Double Impact, Death Warrant, Nowhere To Run, A.W.O.L and Sudden Death are all fine JCVD films.

About 1996 is when it all starts going downhill with Maximum Risk, Double Team, Knockoff, Legionnaire, pretty much all the ones 88 Films have released.

Inferno (Desert Heat) from 1999 is a belter though, with some atrocious JC acting and genuinely funny bits with Pat Moriata.

The way JC delivers the line "I would like a piece of your famous apple pie" is phenomenal.

Well the answer is yeah I collecting some of them. Again different tastes and do still think 88 are giving out more of a variety of b movies than arrow. I mean u say mainstream but they just gave uk distribution to a couple of forgotten drive in flicks by mark lester (forgotten for good reason).

Besides let's face it the action genre has been neglected in comparison to the horror/scifi re-releases. I mean when cannon's back library became available for licensing, the first bunch of films that got special editions in the world were their horror titles. Heck half the action titles that have been released in uk are bare bones in special features.

As for seagal flicks erm yeah I dont think I would touch most of his direct to vid releases. He often turned up late and left early and often refused to do what was in the script or do additional voice recording afterwards. So most of them feature his better acting much skinnier body doubles then they do seagal. Plus seagal is a pervert, could give u a list of name actresses/models who have said they had trouble with him decades before metoo movement ever happened, even photo evidence of him trying to cop a feel of katherine Heigl at the premiere of under siege 2.
If to buy his flicks it would be more for special features (good luck finding anyone willing to say nice things about him), and tbh without him since multiple interviewers have said they had his entourage intimidate them and seagal want to show his moves off sadisticly on said interviewers so for their sake best not bother with seagal 😅.
