As I said at the end of my review, it's a mess, but an enjoyable mess. In some ways, it's a better way to spend your time than watching The Amityville Horror.

The Amityville Horror isn't something that's ever high on my to-watch list.

I have a box set with the first four films but I can't the last time I watched them – it wasn't in the decade anyway – and I keep finding other things to watch instead.

At the moment, it's a rewatch of the entire Line of Duty TV show.

I believe that the BBFC charges whether a title is given an uncut certificate, cuts are requested or even if the submission is rejected.

When u look at those costs u kinda understand why some companies send their films straight to vod and not bother with dvd.

Very true, Third Window Films want to put out the critically acclaimed Labyrinth of Cinema but have cited that due to it's running time (180 mins) it would just cost too much money to license, classify and manufacture. Classification alone is around £1300 and I'm guessing that's pre-VAT as well. When you take into consideration a film like that 'might' sell 1000 copies it starts to make sense why they can't release it.

THE POSSESSION prequel-sequel is FAR superior.
