Next month will be my first time seeing Splatter University. Surely it can't live up to it's brilliant trailer?

"Tomorrow both MOTHER'S DAY and SLAUGHTERHOUSE officially hit the shelves! Who is picking these two new Slasher Classics up?

We regret that DON'T GO IN THE WOODS has been postponed until March 2nd but it is shipping NOW from our online shop!"

Anybody know why Woods should be delayed?

I have no idea. I received my copy a few days ago, but haven't watched it yet.

It's probably a delay at the suppliers or something like that. Glad I got mine direct from 88.

Do 88 not have a say in how much HMV charge? Why are Arrow titles often stupid prices in there?

No, it can't.

I don't mind it, it's gory and a bit of a laugh, but it's certainly not a good film by any stretch of the imagination!

I wonder if Flesh Eating Mothers will ever get the HD treatment? Not that many people would want that one...

They probably set an RRP, but HMV, or anywhere else, can sell them cheaper. I doubt 88 have set the RRP of their blu's at £7.99, which is why they didn't do exclusives for Toxie 3&4.

Can they or any label not control the minimum price? How does that aspect of the business actually work? Do HMV or Amazon or Zavvi or whoever not buy stock in and sell it on or is it done differently?
