![]() Nine Guests for a Crime is the only one i'm interested in. I've never seen it but it sounds okay. This is the sort of thing i want our cult labels to release. Not the Long bloody Kiss Goodnight. |

![]() Even though it seems deeply flawed, I'm interested in Incubus as well as Nine Guests for a Crime

Also, Wacko could be terrible or could be a lot of fun. The Bloody Disgusting review of the Vinegar Syndrome Blu-ray release, which will probably be the same as the 88 Films one, has intrigued me. Quote:

I like Incubus! It's nice and sleazy... but I'll stick with my US import. It borrows slasher stylings for a couple of scenes, but it fits better into the supernatural mystery category if you ask me. Like others I'll pick up Nine Guests... as I not seen it before. I think I heard on one of the their commentaries that The Hysteria Continues rates Wacko as the best of the early 80s slasher spoofs. |

I love Wacko, used to be on late night TV a lot growing up, I already have the American Blu, but glad it's being released. It's very Airplane in style, as in throw as many gags in as they can even if some don't work. It's basically a riff on Halloween and slasher films with the Pumpkin headed Lawnmower killer, but there are references to most of the late 70's horror films, like Omen, Alien and even throws in stuff about Dr Moreau. As the killer says - "Death to teenagers who f**k!" ![]() ![]()

Granted this is a me Problem, but it feels like 88 Films are releasing films on which I read the titles I just shrug them off as obscure films which I have to do research on. Initially it was like oh yeah, I know that one, granted they do occasionally release titles I know by just the nam but it's infrequent now. Not talking about the major titles like American Pie, it's more like the B Movies like Karate Warrior |
