Not talking about the major titles like American Pie, it's more like the B Movies like Karate Warrior
It pleases me as i get sick of buying stuff on blu that i already own on dvd. I'm all for new things i've never seen before.

"A quiet New England town becomes the site of a grisly murder and assault, leaving a young man dead and his girlfriend in critical condition. Sam Cordell, head surgeon and medical examiner at the local hospital, senses something isn't quite normal about the attacker, but barely a day later, another woman is savagely assaulted and killed. With the realisation that a maniac is on the loose, Sam, with the help of police chief Hank Walden and newspaper columnist Laura Kincaid, must unravel the mystery before additional murders occur, all the while unaware that Sam's own daughter, Jenny, might be next on the victim list ...

An intense and disturbing supernatural slasher, John Hough's (LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE, AMERICAN GOTHIC) INCUBUS stars acclaimed actor and filmmaker John Cassavetes (A WOMAN UNDER THE INFLUENCE), John Ireland (THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME) and Kerrie Keane (SPASMS) in her feature film debut. Stylishly photographed by Albert J. Dunk (CLASS OF 1984) and scored by Stanley Meyers (THE DEER HUNTER), 88 Films unleashes this 80s slasher classic onto Blu-ray!"

'Wacko' (1982) - Blu-ray pre-order available from Amazon UK - UK$17.00

Release date: April 7

"Thirteen years ago, at the Halloween Pumpkin Prom, the infamous Lawnmower Killer went on a brutal rampage, murdering several high school students, including Mary Graves' older sister, traumatizing her for life. Now, after the unexpected escape of a prisoner from the state mental hospital, who may or may not be the killer, it's up to hard-nosed gumshoe Dick Harbinger to solve the case before the Lawnmower Killer seeks out a new slew of victims at the upcoming Pumpkin Prom, that is if anyone is able to survive the hilarious horror hijinks leading up to it!

Thanks to pieces such as Student Bodies and Saturday the 14th comedy-horror was big business in the early 80s and Wacko from 1982 was one of the better ones. Exploitation director Greydon Clark delivers a mad mix of spoof and shocks whilst his A-list cast, which includes George Kennedy (Charade), Joe Don Baker (Goldeneye, Fletch), Charles Napier (The Blues Brothers, Supervixens) and Stella Stevens (The Poseidon Adventure) play the movie as straight as they can. Newly restored in 4k from its long lost camera negative!"

  • ORIGINAL MONO 2.0 AUDIO
  • OPTIONAL ENGLISH SDH
  • AUDIO COMMENTARY BY THE HYSTERIA CONTINUES

'Night Train Murders' (1975) - Deluxe Collectors Edition 4K UHD / Blu-ray combo pre-order available from Amazon UK - UK$35.00

Release date: April 28

"Originally banned in 1976 by the BBFC and a few years later becoming one of the original casualties of the infamous Video Nasties hysteria, Night Train Murders AKA Last Stop on the Night Train is still a forceful and challenging picture. It focuses on two young girls who experience a journey of unimaginable terror at the hands of deranged psychos as they journey between Germany and Italy. Violent and thanks to its hugely controversial content, the movie is still highly regarded as an exploitation classic. Using the dark terror of the young girls' torment it juxtaposes it with the season of goodwill which makes the situation even more unbearable. Visually raw and uncompromising, this is one ride you?ll never forget."
