What about Revenge?

I'm really looking forward to that one.

I've got the Scorpion release of it so won't bother.

Really good film though.

Never sure what to get in these Network sales. The amazing cover art can often be a little misleading. I'm interested in The Scotland Yard Mystery, because of the quite macabre cover, but the synopsis makes me think it could be pretty standard thriller fare.

I'm definitely looking at To Die For (Van Sant), A Man About The House (it all sounds a bit Gaslight, which I adore) and The Ghoul (I'm a little surprised I don't already own this; I hope I just haven't forgotten to log it into my collection).

But I'm also considering Slayground, House Of Darkness, Cat And Mouse and the aforementioned Scotland Yard Mystery.

The Scotland Yard Mystery is actually pretty good. At the centre is a plot of murder and is really an early living dead film. It's quietly suspenseful with a macabre streak of very black humour running through it.Picture wise it's very good and has awesome artwork.

I think when you come to watch it or indeed buy it you have to realize it was made in 1934.

I do have it and have watched it. Here's a pic of the inner artworks featuring it's US title The Living Dead.

I have House of Darkness but not watched it yet.

If you would like some recommendations feel free to ask. I have almost fifty now. I love these old British films, well the mystery, crime and spooky ones anyway.

Actually i feel i can safely recommend The Night Has Eyes with James Mason. It's a brilliant old dark house chiller. JHarker loved it as well.

Finally got The Gentle Touch series 2 with series 3 added to the basket. Glad also to have purchased the superb drama series The Sandbaggers for just £12.99. Also bought Kinvig. I see the Network DVD sale lasts until Monday at 4pm. Might buy a few more DVD deals tomorrow.

I might order the first two seasons of the blu Ray versions of the professionals before the sale ends on Monday

Kinvig is ridiculous. I love it. Seen it twice now. Great choice.
