I have never seen the spines of about 50% of my collection because all my DVD's and Blu-Rays are in packing crates!

For the majority of my DVDs I use specialist wallets which go into A5 lever-arch binders, Michael Brooke actually recommended them over on bluray.com

DVD FlatPak Sleeve (100 Pk)

You get around 20 per binder and on an Ikea 'Billy' bookcase you can fit 6 folders with ease. Then you can put the empty DVD boxes in the loft or something.

That would break my ickle heart. Discs in bloody folders and sleeves in a box in the attic. Might as well have mp4's in the cloud.

Sometimes practicality outweighs aesthetics, especially when you live in a city centre apartment. When I eventually move into a house I fully intend to have a library/viewing room but at this point it's not practical when all I have is a living room/kitchen and 2 bedrooms.

Edit: The sleeves go in the wallet by the way, the empty boxes go in the loft You still get the full artwork and any booklets/inserts.

I'm the same - although only because my collection is currently double-faced on my shelves to conserve space!

Since posting that the Friday order has also been dispatched but no update on the Saturday order which contains the bulk of my DVDs haha.

That being said I am still watching The Owl Service, just 2 more episodes left, and I'm planning on Series One of Shadows straight afterwards.

Series 1 and 3 of Shadows is winging it's way to me. I didn't bother with the second series as it's supposedly not as good.
