I'm not sure how much better this will be than the dvd, Nos. As i say it's only 101 Films and they do nothing in restoration terms. It was shot entirtely on video so won't look that great on Blu-ray.

The Doctor Who restorations which are meticulously done by the BBC's restoration experts don't look that much better than the dvd's although they are certainly improved.

I truly don't think 101 will do it justice. I feel half proved correct by them not giving it a 5:1 mix which it was begging for.

It's probably will be very similar to the DVD in terms of the AV quality, but I?m very interested in the new features, commentary, and script booklet.

I know 25 quid is a lot for the relatively minor upgrade but I have that money available at the moment and want to add The Stone Tape to the Black Label titles I have.

I've just checked my DVD Profiler database and the discs upstairs, and I don't own The Stone Tape, so the times I have seen it (back in 2016) were when I rented the DVD from Lovefilm or Blockbuster.

Elvira's Haunted Hills and Trancers have both gone through the BBFC as 101 releases.

88 released it a few years ago i think stand alone and as part of a multi film box set but it's not something i'd be after.

I would like Haunted Hills though. We'll have to see what's wrong with it first.

Hopefully it?s just a direct port of the Scream Factory. 101 isn?t all bad, they have an OK track record, better than Shameless percentage wise lol?

Trancers is the best charles band production that isn't based on a lovecraft story.

88 did release it few years ago with special features, including the previously lost mini sequel (was going to be a segment of an anthology called pulse pounders).

Tbh unless Helen hunt is now talking about it, I can't see 101 bettering the 88 release.
