It looks like the Shout logo is on the disc in that shot, so it's probably a very similar release.

The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982) has been passed by the BBFC.

I'm not sure why this submission is almost 2.5 minutes shy of the previous Anchor Bay release as it is not mentioning any cuts?

It's unlikely but when albert pyuns health deteriorated he went and did director cuts of some of his films that he sold on hos website. I know there was cyborg and captain america but not sure if he did one for sword and sorcerer. Again just an idea maybe behind different running time

'The Sword And The Sorcerer' (1982) - 4K UHD / Blu-Ray combo pre-order available from 101 Films direct - UK$34.99

Release date: October 7

"101 Films presents the the legendary Albert Pyun's debut feature The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982) available in the UK on 4K UHD & Blu-ray for the first time. Released at the height of the swashbuckling fantasy craze of the 1980s, the Sword and the Sorcerer was a box office success despite its poor critical reception, launching the career of B-movie icon Albert Pyun. Criminally underseen compared to some of its contemporaries, this epic adventure has all the bloody battles, valiant warriors, fair maidens and savage sorcerers to more than justify its place among the fantasy classics of the decade.

Meet Talon, a daring mercenary who conquers castles and dungeons alike with his lethal three-bladed sword. But when Talon learns that he is the prince of a kingdom controlled by an evil sorcerer, he is thrust into the wildest fight of his life. Can Talon rescue the beautiful princess and slay the warlock, or will he fall prey to the black magic of medieval mayhem?
