Second sight just announced the changeling. Same transfer and bonus features. Plus i prefer the cover. One synapse release im not bothering with.

Severin just put up a trailer for their upcoming Anthopophagus and absurd releases. I'll probably pick them up sooner or later but honestly neither look like improvements over the 88 releases (at least the re-issue of Anthro).

i already bought the 88 films versions and wont be buying them again as i do not have a money tree growing in my garden

I could imagine being more enthusiastic if it was a case like Buio Omega where the Severin release looked genuinely better. These don't look like any sort of improvement and I'm really not bothered by the added tat you get in the bundles. Only thing of interest is the Absurd soundtrack.

88 Films' Absurd looks green, like their Buio omega. Severin's release will most likely be properly colour corrected.

I own the 88 release and thought it looked great. and i can't say that i noticed it looking green either.
compared to the old Vhs i own it was a revelation
