With WOWHD all that's changed is an automatic addition of 20% VAT to the UK.

As far as i know that's it. All additional taxes are collected by the retailer not when it arrives in the UK.

It'll be interesting how the smaller outfits that post direct to UK e.g. Severin, VS and Diabolik respond to the VAT at source levy. At the moment, as I understand it, they have not registered for VAT, so it will be interesting to see if they continue to post to the UK and hope they are not intercepted and returned or if they register for VAT or just give up posting to the UK?

Has anyone ordred anything from them since the new rules kicked in? If so, I'd be interested to know what happens?

I haven't ordered from them since, not sure, last summer, but i ordered four discs between Christmas and New Year to beat any VAT hikes.

The second one arrived today. It was shipped two days after the first...which ain't arrived yet.
