I'm sure I read somewhere that the last film elements for Fight for your Life were lost in a flood and that's why it's never been reissued on Blu - sad if true.

I'd love a better copy of Expose. The Severin's ok but there's lots of room for improvement.

With the pre-print elements lost or destroyed it is unlikely we'll ever see Expose looking much better than the previous release. I haven't watched it in years, but I recall it didn't look that great.

The dvd releases worldwide before this Severin release were all cut.
(I know- I bought most of them in the hope they weren't!)

So yeah, you're right go,this will likely be as good as it gets.

Looks great anyway compared to some of the abovementioned dvds!

Now,Code Red's dvd of NIGHT OF THE DEMON was the best looking release to date compared to the horrific-looking dvdr and German bootleg releases, but it's still pretty abysmal looking.....

This is sounding promising guys......I've been yelling for a release of this film since I joined this forum 12 years ago!

Also,a few months back, there was an interview in Darkside or Scream mag (can't remember which) with the producer or dop.....

I avoided the DVDs because, as you say, they were all cut. At least the Severin release is intact.

I've just read up on the Severin Expose release. It was made up of 25% original negative which was almost unusable due to water damage. The rest was made up from two release prints. So as good as it gets by the looks of it.

I guess there is the slim chance an inter-negative might be in someone's attic somewhere...
