The set with the book is US only. Major miffing on FB at the mo because of this.

The "normal" set is the one we non muricans can purchase ...

I've only seen Nightbirds which I liked but I don't think it's representative of his wider work. What touchstones are there in other directors or is he one of a kind?

Totally one of a kind Justin. His films are ultra low budget and he was a bit of a one man band so he did everything from directing to costumes and make-up. A backstreet auteur you might say.

I'd check out Severin's trailer as it gives a fair idea of what to expect.

By the trailer it looks right up my street actually Now to decide if I should spend the money lol... It's be good if WowHD stocks it, or Strange Vice.

I've just ordered it-worked out at £128 with shipping and I've NEVER had my arse felt by HMRC when it comes to Severin direct.....

That's what the 'additonal notes' box is for....

The 'bundle' with the hardback book and the pins is US only, they have explained that the book weighs too much so they're not getting involved, you can buy the book on UK Amazon anyway.

The regular box set contains a 128 page paperback book written by Stephen Thrower. So you still get the exclusive product.

Ordered my Milligan set.

Just a 'heads up' that Severin have said they have sold half their stock already. The $140 release is not marked as limited so whether they'll restock is anyone's guess?

EDIT: Apparently there won't be a reprint

I already knew that this set was going to be the greatest home video event ever and it's turned out to be even better than I had expected.
