I was hoping Arrow would have a Vol 2 of Larraz, but I guess it’s not to be. Which is a shame, as their Vol 1 was excellent.

I've been hoping for the same thing. I suppose it still could happen though.

They often work with Severin so I wouldn't rule it out, but to be honest when they released Deadly Manor and Edge of the Axe as stand alone editions I thought that was the end of it anyway.

Hey all, does anyone have experience of ordering direct from Severin? Particularly their Black Friday sale? Are they prompt/ do they charge a hefty international shipping fee?

It will mate.

They'll repackage Deadly Manor and Edge of the Axe in a flimsy fancy box.

And the 'ltd ed' exclusive will be a bonus film.....

Battle Royale!

I was charged $35 for 7 discs in the last sale. Works out around £26.
It sounds a lot but during the sale you can get titles for $12-15. My last order worked out at around £14.50 per disc.

I'm not sure how long they take to deliver? Probably a bit longer than normal after sales. For me, I'm not bothered about that part, just as long as they turn up eventually.

It wasn't billed as a Volume 1. However, if and when the single releases are close to going out of print I wonder if they will be re-packaged in a boxset a la Bava?

I was wondering the same thing as T4C, so thanks for the reply, Rob.

I'd rather like that Eurocrypt of Christopher Lee box set if it's available. Failing that the Folk Horror set, although that's pretty much a new release.

Do Severin deal with the import duties themselves like say Amazon do or is it likely we'll be hit for those as well?

Yeah. What you save on the RRP is worth it.

They'd better-Santa's bringing me that LONG AWAITED bigfoot classic on blu ray.....

Nowhere near as rapid as VS.....

They don't do anything with import duties. Basically, it's at your own risk. I always leave a message asking them to make the declaration customs friendly but I can't remember if they do or not? I've not had anything stopped since the changes and to be honest I don't think Customs have the staff to do these sort of checks anymore, what with Brexit and all that. I'm happy to take the risk until I get caught.

On a side note to that issue I noticed my Mondo Macabro order was sent to the Netherlands this time and has entered the UK from there. It's with the Royal Mail now so I'm not sure how that's going to be handled? I'll report back when it arrives.
